Free Rein Coffee uses a unique blend of coffees from around the world, specifically roasted to maximize the flavor.  A blend is a combination of two or more different types of coffee beans, which allows roasters to create a unique flavor profile that cannot be achieved by using a single origin coffee.

It depends on personal taste and the specific characteristics of the coffee being brewed. Methods such as pour-over, French press, and espresso can all be used to bring out the unique flavors of Free Rein.

Light roast coffee is roasted for a shorter time and at a lower temperature than dark roast coffee, resulting in a coffee that has a lighter body, with more nuanced flavors. Dark roast coffee is roasted for a longer time and at a higher temperature, resulting in a coffee with a stronger, more intense flavor and a darker color

Coffee beans should be stored in an airtight container at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Avoid storing coffee in the refrigerator or freezer, as this can cause moisture to condense on the beans and affect their flavor.

Coffee beans are best consumed within 2-4 weeks of opening, as the flavor and aroma can begin to degrade over time once the package is opened. It’s best to buy coffee in small quantities and to only grind the amount needed for each brewing session to ensure maximum freshness.

Arabica beans are considered to be of higher quality and have a more complex flavor profile than Robusta. Robusta beans contain higher caffeine and are stronger. Heavy Spur is a fantastic Robusta coffee of ours if you like that extra kick.  American Dirt, Homestead, Mesteño, Prospect and Branded are all 100% Arabica.

It depends on the brewing method. For example, a fine grind is best for espresso, while a coarser grind is better for French press. We recommend using a high-quality burr grinder to ensure consistent particle size.

Between 195 and 205 degrees Fahrenheit.

Washed coffee is processed using water to remove the outer layer of the coffee cherry, resulting in a cleaner and brighter taste. Natural coffee is dried with the fruit intact, making it sweeter and fruitier.  Most of our blends are washed, but Heavy Spur is a natural coffee.

While we don't have any blends that are currently specifically low acid, darker roasts have lower acid levels than lighter roasts. We recommend the American Dirt which is our darkest roast in the assortment.

Size charts will be supplied shortly.  Men’s tees: Standard fit, true to size, not slim fit and not relaxed fit.  Women’s tees: Standard fit, true to size, not slim fit and not relaxed fit.  Women’s Tanks: True to size but slightly slimmer fit.  Hoodies: True to size, standard semi-relaxed hoodie fit.

All drinkware is dishwasher safe. We recommend using the top-rack of the dishwasher.

We normally ship within 24-48 hours from the time your order was placed.

If ordered Monday through Friday (except holidays) before 2pm, your order is usually processed the same day. If ordered on the weekend, orders are processed on the next available workday. Coffee is roasted and shipped per your shipping selection.

Subscriptions are simple. Select the coffee you want, which quantity you’d like to receive and the order cadence. Then, select the subscribe button to add to the basket.

If you choose to subscribe you’ll save 15% on all your orders. The discount applies automatically. Your subscription will start immediately, and subsequent orders will be delivered on your selected cadence after your first order. You can sign-in to your account at any time to manage your subscription. You’lll also find an option to cancel your subscription within the order management section of your account.

We’ll ship your first order as soon as you complete the checkout process. Subscription orders received before 2 pm will be shipped the same day, if received after 2 pm, we’ll ship the following day. Our standard delivery is UPS (2-3 working days).

You can easily pause or cancel your subscription from your account page. Simply head to your account and select “My Subscriptions” and select the product order you wish to change.

You can change your address from your account portal.  Select “Address book” and select from option to edit, delete or add new addresses.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.  We will provide you with special instructions for coffee purchases and returns.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
